Temp to Perm Opportunity
Equivalent Salary circa 45k-48k + car allowance + annual bonus along with other benefits.
Home based with the need to get to Mansfield Office 1 day per week plus some travel to other sites in the UK as and when required.
Must have own vehicle & Driving Licence
We are currently looking to recruit for a Project Manager on behalf of our client who are a major UK Water company.
You will be responsible for overseeing delivery of M&E Projects for various sites across the UK. This will include contractor management, financial control and Health & Safety Management. You will also work with the Operations Lead to develop and drive improvements for areas such as target price quotations, price lists and supply chain contracts.
In order to succeed in this position you will have a good dealing with contractors and ideally have a background in Asset Management. It would be beneficial if you have come from an M &E Project Management Background. Previous experience in a Construction or Site Supervisor postion could be beneficial and the client would also consider someone currently in a Junior Project Managerment position.
Some key Responsibilities are
Responsible for full Project Management, ensuring each project is delivered on time and within budget and with correct hand over procedures through each stage of the project.
Have a real focus on Health, Safety and Wellbeing to ensure nobody gets hurt or is made unwell by what we do.
Effectively manage stakeholders across the business teams to facilitate and manage the successful implementation of projects.
Undertake financial management of projects to ensure accurate and robust financial forecasting and budgetary allocation.
Undertake detailed analysis when required, using information supplied from different sources and demonstrate this using a variety of applications to produce informed recommendations.
Manage the development and implementation of projects associated with Asset Management and investment activities.
Ensure that project and change benefits are correctly identified and monitored and a framework is in place to ensure sustainability of change.
To work in tandem with the project leads and operational teams to deliver the on-site activities and manage workloads through proactive resource planning to meet these demands.
Management of the Task Order programme through phased approaches including management of the supply chain
Develop the future Improvement Activities Programme profile, formalise processes, manage performance metrics, develop reporting and update asset data.
Develop, own and maintain trackers for work activities to target focus activities based on risk.
Support the development of Standard Operating Procedures, training and rollout programmes where required.
Experience
Strong Financial, Risk Management and analytical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft office applications
Experience of project management and experience of planning, managing and delivering process improvements successfully
Stakeholder engagement with excellent presentation skills
Developing robust business cases with clear understanding of whole life costs
