About the role We are looking for a talented machine learning engineer to join the team and be part of the early journey of building a proprietary analysis tool based on predictive machine learning models that aim to identify attractive investment opportunities by valuing financial, environmental and social metrics. This is a broad role where you will play a key part in shaping the product, technology and roadmap together with the CEO, COO and Head of Engineering. Responsibilities Designing machine learning systems and self-running artificial intelligence (AI) software to automate predictive models. Ensuring that algorithms generate accurate user recommendations Turning unstructured data into useful information by auto-tagging images and text-to-speech conversions. Solving complex problems with multi-layered data sets, as well as optimising existing machine learning libraries and frameworks. Developing ML algorithms to analyse huge volumes of historical data to make predictions. Running tests, performing statistical analysis, and interpreting test results. Documenting machine learning processes. Skills / Experience You believe in Bageera s vision (and you re willing to prove it!). You have 2 - 4 years of experience as a machine learning engineer. You have a bachelor s degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, or a related field. Master s degree in computational linguistics, data analytics, or similar is a plus. You have advanced proficiency with Python, Java, and R code writing. You have extensive knowledge of ML frameworks, libraries, data structures, data modelling, and software architecture. You have in-depth knowledge of mathematics, statistics, and algorithms. You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You have communication and collaboration skills, as well as time management acumen.
