Machine Operative

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading packaging company in their search for a Semi-Skilled Machine Operative to work in their leading factory in Bourne.

For the successful Machine Operative our client is offering:

• £28,994.64 p/annum
• 36 hours per week, Continental Shifts, 5:30 am – 5:30 pm / 5:30 pm – 5:30 am
• Permanent Role
• Uniform and PPE provided
• Training and development opportunities 
• 21 days holiday + bank holidays 

The role - Machine Operative:

• Following written instructions from P.C
• Preparing tooling ready for production runs
• Quality checking parts prior to production runs
• Setting up & running various machines including Digi Cons, PMR
• Cleaning parts after each production run
• Carry out weekly stock checks of inks & consumables with Goods In operator

What our client is looking for in a Machine Operative:

• Previous experience working within the print industry - ESSENTIAL 
• P.C literate
• Experience of working in a high volume, low unit cost manufacturing environment
• Stable work history
