Machine Operator/Die Cutter

We are representing a leading manufacturer in the Printing industry, dedicated to providing high-quality products to their valued clients. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Die Cutter/machine Operator to join our dynamic team. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision, we want to hear from you!
This is working on a continential shift pattern, 12 hour shifts, rotating between days and nights! 3 shifts per week!!
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain die-cutting machines to produce parts and products according to specifications.
* Set up die cutters by installing dies, adjusting guides, and ensuring proper machine settings.
* Monitor the production process to ensure the quality and accuracy of cuts.
* Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the die-cutting process.
* Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
* Ensure safety protocols and procedures are followed at all times.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
* Maintain records of production output and machine performance.
Qualifications:
* GCSE's or equivalent.
* Proven experience as a die cutter or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
* Strong understanding of die-cutting machinery and equipment.
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
* Basic computer skills for record-keeping purposes.
