Machine Operator - Laser Cutting

Major Recruitment are recruiting Laser Operators for a client near Gateshead. This is an immediate start, full-time and permanent for the right candidates. Candidates must have previous experience operating Bystronic or Trumpf Laser cutting machines.

Our client is a leading supplier of engineering services and due to growth, are looking to add to their workforce.

Duties include:

\n

\n
• Setting and operating 2D Laser machines.
\n
• Working from engineering drawings.
\n
• Perform routine maintenance on machines.
\n
• Work with quality assurance departments to maintain high standards.
\n

\n

Candidates must have:

\n

\n
• Proficiency in operating 2D laser machines.
\n
• Experience of operating Trumpf or Bystronic machines.
\n
• Understand general laser profiling processes.
\n
• Ability to work under own guidance or as part of a team.
\n

\n

Hours of work and pay rate are:

\n

\n
• 2 shift rotation - 6am to 2pm (Monday to Friday)
\n
• 2pm to 00:30(Monday to Wednesday) & 2pm to 23:30 ( Friday)
\n
• Full-time hours.
\n
• £13.00 to £14.13 (PAYE)
