Job Title;- Machine/Press Brake Operator

Salary;- £11.50ph - £13ph depending on experience and £17.25ph - £19.50ph overtime;-

Contract type; temp to perm

Location; Huthwaite

Hours;- Monday to Friday 8.30-17.00 and Fridays 8.30-15.30

Job description; Are you experienced the industrial and manufacturing world of work? Do you enjoy the mechanics of machine running? If you are wanting to get your foot in the door with a long term role with development and training this could be a great opportunity for you. The role will be hands on, using press brake machines to bend metal to drawings. There is a chance with full training provided for a candidate with the right background experience. The team consists of 20 other workers, offering a small and friendly environment. As the role will be assisting with the prep and machining departments the role will be spent vastly standing/ upright.

Ideal skills and experience; A candidate used to a manufacturing and industrial environment would be most happy within this type of role, someone who is used to getting their hands dirty and working as part of a team. Experience on a press brake machine is preferable however they will train someone up with the correct attitude and manufacturing experience.

Key responsibilities;-

• Using the press brake machine to bend metal to specifications
• Product prep inc cleaning, sanding and wipe downs;
• Working on the new machines
• maintaining a safe environment and basic site maintenance.
