Machine Operator

GR8Connect are looking for experienced machine operators in the slough area to join our client on a�permanent contract working a shift rotation which will include mornings, evenings and nights.

About the Position

* Working as part of the production team operating machinery as instructed by supervisor.

Position Responsibilities

* Operating all machinery in an efficient and safe manner

* Maintaining the production of extrusion and coating lamination, including printing,

ensuring all safety and quality procedures are followed.

* Slitting material produced from the laminators and extrusion machines into tapes.

* Operate all production lines, after appropriate training.

* Support and help in the cross-training of other team members.

* Process the material through the ERP Styeline system

* Making sure all codes used in Syteline are accurate and correct.

Essential Skills and Characteristics

* Understanding of Quality Systems would be an advantage.

* Must have basic numeric and literacy skills to ensure accurate recording of data using set paperwork

* Moving material using electric pump trucks and�forklifts

* Ability to handle heavy equipment.

* Be able to read, understand and follow production plans and Standard Operating Procedures.

* Basic computer knowledge.

* Must be able to work overtime

Paid at �15.21 per hour or �29,660 per annum with overtime and bonuses paid seperately.
