Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Operation:
Set, operate, and monitor equipment to fill and pack products following standard operating procedures efficiently and safely.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure all work is carried out safely, reporting and investigating all near misses, incidents, and accidents.
Equipment Cleaning:
Clean equipment lines between campaigns to prevent cross-contamination. This may involve stripping down and reassembling machinery.
Team Collaboration:
Work as part of a team to meet targets while maintaining quality standards and maximizing efficiency. Complete all related documentation accurately and perform quality assurance checks on finished goods.
Housekeeping:
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and plant cleanliness. Ensure the work area is kept clean, tidy, and safe.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify and propose improvements to packing plant operations to enhance quality, cost-efficiency, and productivity.
