Machine Operator

Kenect Recruitment is currently hiring for a CNC Machine Operator to join our client's team specialising in PET acoustic felt materials. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual looking for a permanent position.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 AM - 16:30 PM
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annual year
Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Program, set up, and operate CNC machinery, including preparing and packing finished products for shipment.
• Utilize AutoCAD or other computer design software to assist in production.
• Interpret engineering drawings to produce high-quality components.
• Ensure all production adheres to the company's quality standards and procedures.
• Maintain production schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
• Keep the work area safe and clean at all times.
• Always comply with health and safety standards.
• Undertake other duties as requested by the supervisor.

Skills and Experience:

• At least 3 years of experience working with CNC machines (experience with any material).
• Familiarity with Zund CNC machines (preferred but not essential).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other 2D/3D design software.
• Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings.
• Confident with measurements and basic math.
• A forklift license is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under time constraints.
• Comfortable with manual handling as part of daily tasks.
