Job Title: Process / Machine Operator

Salary £13.43 per hour circa £29,335 per year

Contract: Temp to Perm after a successful first 8 weeks  

Location: Melton Mowbray LE13

Job Description: Are you looking for long term opportunity and genuine progression within company? We are looking for a Process / Machine Operator to join our team within a busy manufacturing facility specializing in plastic mixing. The ideal candidate will have an FLT licence or be willing to undergo training.

 Skills and experience:

• Previous experience in manufacturing environment (preferred but not essential)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Basic knowledge of machinery and tools used in production (training will be provided)
• FLT/RTITB Licence or willingness to learn
• A good level of English

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating mixing machinery   
• Ensuring smooth running of production lines
• Loading and unloading materials using a forklift truck (training provided if required)
• Manual Handling (bags up to 25 kilograms)
• Performing quality checks and reporting any issues
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area

Hours of work:

Week 1

Monday and Tuesday (Apply online only)

Wednesday and Thursday Off

Friday, Saturday, Sunday (Apply online only)

Week 2

Monday and Tuesday- Off

Wednesday, Thursday (Apply online only)

Friday, Saturday, Sunday- Off

Week 3

Monday and Tuesday- (Apply online only)

Wednesday and Thursday- Off

Week 4

Monday and Tuesday- off

Wednesday, Thursday- (Apply online only)

Friday, Saturday, Sunday- off

And after completing WK4 you are reverting to week 1etc
