Machine Operator

STEM Recruitment solutions are looking for team members to join our client's team in Sunderland. We're looking for talented individuals to fill the role of Machine Operator in our cutting-edge manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities:

• Operate state-of-the-art machinery


• Load parent reels onto the unwind unit and unload finished goods from the rewind section.


• Monitor work in progress reels throughout production to ensure quality and meet customer specifications.


• Conduct regular quality checks including glue weights, wax weights, and slitting tolerances.


• Quarantine suspect or poor-quality products and complete necessary documentation.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in machine operation and manufacturing are not essential as full training will be provided.


• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.


• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.


• Good timekeeping and attendance are essential

Working a rotation of 4 on 4 off on a day and night shift pattern : 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am.
