Machine Operator

Overview

Mayday Personnel are working with a well established team based company in Calmore Industrial estate. We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator for our client. The ideal candidate will be physically fit as the role involves heavy lifting, have a key eye for detail and wanting long term employment. This is a temporary position with the intention to be permanent after 12 weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety.


• Quality checking finished products prior to dispatch.


• Operating various machine processes according to customer requirement (full training provided).


• Loading and unloading materials and pallets with heavy lifting involved up to 25kg.

Requirements

• Must be happy with the weekly rotational shifts each week (see hours below).


• Strong communication skills in order to safely work with the team.


• Willingness to learn new training, techniques and processes as required.

Hours:

06:00-14:00 week 1.

13:45-21:45 week 2.

Hours are non negotiable. Weekly rotational shift pattern.

There are potential requirements for 08:00-16:45.

Hourly pay:

�11.44ph until the end of March 2025

�12.21ph from April 2025
