Do you have experience within a machine shop environment, production supervisory / team lead positions, overseeing production, planning, account management and liaising with clients?



Links Recruitment�present a fantastic opportunity for a Production Supervisor / Planner to join and develop within a growing team and company who pride themselves in providing high quality products within the industry. In this role you will be responsible for leading and overseeing a small team on CNC Machinist, organising all orders, planning production schedules, liasing with customers on a daily basis to provide updates and continuously improve processes where possible.



The Role:




  • Planning production schedules for a team of CNC machinists.

  • Have a sound understanding of CNC Machining

  • Estimate production process times.

  • Liaising with customer on a regular (daily) basis ensuring customer requirements are fulfilled on time and in full.

  • Ensuring maximum efficiency throughout the team.

  • Continuous improvement of processes.

  • Ensuring quality standards and technical requirements are maintained.

  • Account manage and liaise with a key account/client on a daily basis to provide updates.�



Skills:




  • Engineering/Machine Shop/CNC background.

  • Machining/CNC background or similar

  • Experience supervising/team leading a small team

  • Experience in production planning (desirable)

  • Experience of account management/customer service or liaising with active clients to keep them updated

  • Production Supervisory skills

  • Can work to deadlines



Shifts: Full-time position:



Monday to Thursday: 7.30am - 4.00pm Fridays: 7.30am - 2.30pm
