Machine Tool Fitter

An established manufacturing company are looking for a Machine Tool Fitter to join their team!

As a Machine Tool Fitter, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and service of a wide range of machinery. Your expertise will ensure tasks run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires flexibility, as you will sometimes be required to leave the main site to repair machinery at various locations.

Salary up to �35,000k working on a day shift plus availability of overtime and access to a staff canteen.

Responsibilities of the Machine Tool fitter:

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment.
• Ensure machinery operates at optimal efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment reliability.
• Occasionally travel off-site to perform repairs and maintenance at customer locations.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used.

We would love to hear from any Machine Tool fitters that have :

• Proven experience as a Machine Tool Fitter or similar role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical or electrical systems and machinery.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel off-site when required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Some mechanical or electrical experience/qualifications
