Job description: Lead a team of Multi skilled crafts person to maintain and repair plant and equipment
Implement and manage the plant maintenance program based on best practice, with an emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventative/predictive maintenance
Reduce MTBF, and MTTR for plant.
Use 5 Why analysis for all major breakdowns to identify root cause
Support and monitor TPM activities.
Coordinate maintenance days to include maintenance routines and improvement activities
Reducing breakdown time and raising OEE.
Ordering of spares and maintenance of stock levels at economic cost levels.
Provide knowledge and support to maintenance team.
Environmental, Health & Safety
Mentor Apprentices
Duties
Review of CBMS data to prioritise improvement projects.
Supervising trades people.
Planning major overhauls.
Planning improvement projects.
Publish KPI's.
Management Of Team Holidays / Payback / Overtime
Management Of Service & Spares Suppliers
Work Permit Management
Update Of Spend Tracker & Budget Adherence
Required profile: Degree or equivalent (5 years managing maintenance experience)
Previous experience of machine tools, multi axis CNC and hydraulic presses.
Knowledge of health, safety and environmental duties.
Experience of using computer based maintenance packages
