Maintenance Craftsman Mechanical

Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced�Maintenance Mechanical Crafts Person�for a contractual assignment based in�Birmingham , B15.

The shift Engineer will be responsible for undertaking improvement work , maintenance and repairs of the plant , services and physical assets including testing and routine fault finding.

Available Shifts and Location:

• Shift Pattern:�4 days on & 4 Days off (Day and Night shifts) - Full-time position


• Location:�B15 2WB


• Shift Times:�07:00-19:00PM and 19:00PM TO 07:00AM


• Pay Rate:��23.46 per hour (including holiday pay), with the option to accrue additional holiday pay


• Pay Frequency:�Weekly, every Friday before 5 PM


• Paid via PAYE only

Qualifications Required:

• C&G Mechanical Certificate


• DBS Certificate

Skills and Experience Required:

• Must be able to interpret and work from instructions , drawings and specifications appropriate to your own trade without supervision


• Ability to diagnose and repair faults in engineering installation , plant and equipment.


• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding within current regulations , codes of practise , health & safety regulations and safety rules.


• Understand fully the inter-relationship between various maintenance crafts


• Good Understanding of AHU and FCU


• Diagnose and repair faults in engineering installation, plant and equipment. To deal with new situations as they arise and pass on knowledge to others. To inform immediate Charge Hand/Supervisors of any delays or difficulties encountered.


• Ensure all PPM work is carried out effectively in compliance with maintenance instructions
