Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician to work for an established, growing business in the Leyland and Thornton area.
Salary: £44600.00 per annum
Contract type: Permanent
Location Leyland - Post code PR26
Working hours: Average 37.8 hours per week, 12 hour shifts, 5 shift system, 24/7
6am - 6pm / 6pm - 6am - 2 days, 2 nights on 7 cycles followed by an 18day break.
Roles and responsibilities:
Maintenance of the waste treatment facility assets and associated infrastructure, including operational monitoring of functional odour abatement systems and the SCADA system.
Fault Finding and repairs
Required Skills / Qualifications Required:
Recognised apprenticeship in relevant discipline (Electrical and Electronics
Engineering) to ONC/HNC Level
Ability to effectively manage work schedules in a timely manner
Provide evidence of working to deadlines and under pressure
Evidence of working in an organised manner
Evidence of using effective problem-solving techniques
Effective communicator at all levels both written and verbally.
Detailed knowledge of preventative, predictive and lifecycle maintenance activities.
Desirable Skills
Knowledge of the Waste processing industry
Detailed knowledge of waste processing plant, machinery and associated systems or FMCG Chemical and industrial industries.
Knowledge of working with CMMS software applications
Knowledge of Siemens systems
