Maintenance Engineer

Recsure Personnel are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer for a company based within the Telford area, working 08.00 - 17.00, Monday to Friday. This role is a straight permanent contract with possible immediate starts, following CV submittal and interview process.

This role will include the following duties:

- Responsible for safe and efficient operation of overhead gantry cranes and systems to a high standard.

- Maintain plant and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation to reduce downtime.

- Keep maintenance records.

- Organise maintenance on equipment between production requirements.

- Work at heights.

- Ensure work is carried out in accordance with good practice, relevant legal and company standards.

- Work on your own initiative.

- Fault diagnosis and repair, interpreting electric diagrams and machine faults.

- Repair and service hoist lifting equipment.

- Purchase equipment to ensure all essential spares are in stock to cover breakdowns.

- Reduce manufacturing costs through improved design and consultation with suppliers and purchasing.

- Good communication skills.

- Fully flexible approach to the job role responsibilities.

In order to be suitable for this role you must have a minimum of 3 years of working within a Maintenance Engineer role or similar. You must also have a minimum of City and Guilds Level and 17th edition in electrical installation.
