Maintenance Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a number of maintenance engineers on behalf of our client based in Huddersfield. the role would be on 4 on 4 off shifts of 6-6 with 2 days and 2 nights followed by 4 days off.

Job Role

Apprentice trained with a minimum of a NVQ Level 3

Electrical and mechanical fault finding skills.

PLC experience is advantageous.

Ability to read and utilise technical drawings/electrical schematics.

Ensure that all repairs are executed in a timely cost effective manner to a high standard. Work with all parties to minimise line downtime and maximise equipment productivity.

A good level of computer literacy Understanding the need of planned and predictive maintenance Understanding of pneumatic & hydraulic systems

Complete reporting feedback in a timely and effective manner Experience with RCA methods Prior use of a maintenance management system would be advantageous.
