Due to increased expansion and workload this is an exciting time to join a world-renowned company as a Maintenacne engineer. /p p br b Job Role: /b br As an Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be tasked for carrying out reactive, preventative, and proactive maintenance for electrical equipment onsite. /p p b Typical Duties will involve: /b /p ul li Ensure breakdowns are responded to in a timely manner and any follow up actions are carried out. /li li Ensure Maintenance records and work database (SAP) are kept up to date. /li li Attend and conduct shift handovers to discuss the daily and ongoing work. /li li Carry out planned maintenance work against TPM plan. /li li Contribute to the improvement and development of the planned maintenance system. /li li Organise and liaise with contractors, raising permits to work when and where required. /li li To maintain a safe working environment and actively support the continuing development of a safety culture across the site. /li li Proficient in general mechanical tasks i.e., replace bearings,drive belts, motors, gear boxes, and cylinders etc /li /ul p br b Desirable experience /b /p ul li Knowledge, understanding, and the ability to fault find PLC Systems, HMI's, DC drives, Inverter controls, and safety control systems (mainly Siemens / Mitsubishi). /li li Knowledge and experience of electrical installation. /li li Knowledge and competence in fault finding on electrical, pneumatic, steam, and hydraulic control systems. /li li Knowledge and understanding of ABB 6 axis robots is desirable. /li li Good, sound mechanical / electrical engineering background, i.e., an understanding of manufacturing processes, (automotive experience an advantage). /li li Comprehensive understanding of equipment- electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems and their limitations etc /li li Welding and m/c shop skills advantageous /li li Knowledge and experience of using SAP. /li li Minimum of 5 GCSE between A - C (9 - 6) (including English and Maths). /li li Fully Apprenticeship trained in Level 3 / 4 electrical or mechanical engineering. /li li BTEC Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent - HNC or above preferred. /li li Certification in the latest wiring regulations. /li /ul p GI Professional - Bullhorn only is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy. /p br p JBRP1_UKTJ /p
