A Maintenance Engineer is required for a prominent player in the industrial / manufacturing sector. This role is to ensure the safe continuous production of the plant by swiftly responding to any equipment failures and to implement an effective preventative maintenance programme.

Description
- Inspect, maintain and repair manufacturing equipment (steam boilers, pumps, gearboxes, agitators)
- Maintenance and repairs of electrical plant equipment where necessary
- Identify potential issues and implement preventative measures
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Work with the engineering team to improve equipment efficiency and reliability
- Provide technical support to the production team
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Document maintenance and repair work
- Respond to emergency breakdowns as required
Profile
A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:
- ONC or Equivalent (C&G L3) in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering
- Electrical Qualification
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial / manufacturing industry
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of manufacturing equipment
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- A proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement
