Company description:

We are working with an established company in the Industrial manufacturing sector who specialise in manufacturing consumer goods products. They are recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team and are offering circa �47,000.

Duties and responsibilities as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)


• Maintain conveyor systems and all plant machinery


• Attending to reactive breakdowns


• Get machines back up and running in a timely manner


• Update completed scheduled tasks on computerized maintenance system


• Ensure Company Health & Safety procedures are followed


• Mechanical strip downs and repairs to plant machinery


• Quality checks to understand the reasons for machine breakdowns

Skills and experience required as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

• Hydraulics and pneumatics systems experience


• Pro-actively find ways to improve performance lines


• Knowledge of Mechanical principles
