Maintenance Engineer

A growing business that has been in operation for around 40 years and has sites in Europe and North America is looking for a Maintenance Engineer in South Wales.

Along with a salary of £40,250 per annum, you will receive a fantastic range of benefits including private medical cover, a potential bonus, pension scheme and 25 days holiday + bank holidays. You wont have to miss any social occasions as this role is 06:00-17:00, 4 days on, 4 days off, meaning you still get plenty of time off without losing your social life!

As Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the installation of new equipment
Troubleshooting within the plant and processes to ensure that production downtime is kept to a minimum
Supporting the planned preventative system to ensure maintenance is carried out to agreed schedule
Identifying and delivering improvements in overall equipment efficiencies
Providing input and support to cost reduction initiatives
Ensuring all contractors information is reviewed and permits work are issued prior to work being carried out
Contributing to facilities management for the site.
Supporting the maintenance and upkeep of the quality system for the site
Making sure all Health & Safety policies and procedures are adhered to.
