We are recruiting an electrically qualified Service Technician to be based in the Cumbria area

What we are looking for in you:
We ask that you are apprentice-trained or equivalent and conversant with electrical engineering disciplines.
Mechanical knowledge
Health and Safety knowledge
Experience maintaining overhead cranes and hoists
You will climb a ladder and able to work at heights
Willingness to work extra hours this attracts paid overtime - we pay double time at the weekend!
Hold a current driving license
Willingness to work on the On-Call Rota with enhanced premium
Due to the location of our customers, we anticipate you will be away 30 nights a year (travel, accommodation and food will be provided). You will:
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on electric overhead travelling cranes
Trouble- shooting equipment breakdowns.
Consult with customers on repair and safety related issues.
Complete appropriate documentation through your mobile device.
You will report to the Operations Manager.
The role of a Service Technician is within the department of Industrial Service, offering maintenance and service solutions for all crane brands. Your role will involve the maintenance and upgrade of our customers' lifting equipment. The work we offer is varied and two days are never the same.
