One of our prestigious FMCG clients in Northampton are looking to expand their engineering department due to an investment to increase their production facility. As a business they believe that a successful business will only continue to be successful if the team have the right skillset and the right attitude, so they are more than happy to invest in training staff. The engineering team is currently made up of mixed abilities of around 8 engineers and they are looking to add a further 4 into the team.

As a Maintenance Engineer working within a team of shift engineers and team leaders your responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Carrying out both electrical and mechanical fault finding, repairs and PPM's
  • Adhering to health and safety standards on the shop floor
  • Responding to breakdowns
  • Working to engineering drawings
  • Assisting with continuous improvement projects
  • Working to BRC standards
