A fantastic steel firm in the heart of the black country have tasked me with finding an electrically bias maintenance engineer. My client is well-established and the UKs largest in their sector.
My client is looking for a maintenance engineer to be part of a two-man team on a 3-shift rota. You will be tasked with preventative and reactive maintenance work on all plant and equipment. This role will suit someone with a heavy engineering background.
Maintenance Engineer Benefits:
Salary £36,000 (basic)
Fantastic earning potential through OT and shift cover.
Premium OT.
33 days holiday.

Maintenance Engineer Duties:
X3-shift rota (days, afternoons, nights).
Installation work.
Electrical fault finding.
Follow CCT diagrams.
PLC work (I/O).
Keep maintenance logs.
Planned and reactive maintenance.
Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
Electrical engineering apprenticeship.
18th edition (preferred).
Steel / Heavy engineering experience.
Basic PLC knowledge.
Previous experience as a plant maintenance engineer.
Electrical fault finding.
Must be local to site.
