About the company
ATA are supporting a large UK manufacturing group at their bespoke production site in the East Peterborough area. Costing £9.5 million to build, the site has been operating since 2008 and produce 1000s of tonnage of their product every year. The company employ over 2000 staff across the country and boast a portfolio of manufactured goods second to none. These goods are some of UKs most recognisable brands of which have become a staple part of the British construction market.
The company have shown how robust they are, quickly recovering from the mist of the COVID19 pandemic, withstanding the pressure of the increased energy prices and standing strong in challenging times for the UK economy. In fact, the group have been able to invest in well over £130million across their plants since the start of 2023.
They are now looking to add a maintenance engineer of mechanical bias to join their team.
About the role
As a maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective running of a busy manufacturing plant.
Responsibilities include
- Planned preventive maintenance.
- Reacting to breakdowns.
- Welding and fabrication.
- Mechanical strip and rebuild.
- Occasionally helping operate some plant machinery.
About you
To be considered for this maintenance engineer opportunity you should have the following:
- Experience with mechanical strip and rebuild
- Experience with welding & fabrication
- Be able to follow strict health and safety procedures
- Be happy working within a small engineering team
- Recognised engineering qualifications (Apprenticeship/Welding)
