Maintenance Engineer

Kingston Barnes is currently recruiting for Maintenance Engineer in the Bridgwater area. This is a Monday to Friday Days based position, perfect for a skilled Engineer from a manufacturing or production background who is looking to step off shifts or likes to keep the weekends free.
The Company: Our client is a market leader in their industry. They work with over 100 different materials to produce precision machined components for a variety of industries within engineering and manufacturing. This company has a global presence and is continuing its steady growth since its inception in the 1980s.
The Role: You will be responsible for conducting proactive and reactive maintenance and repairs of all machinery within the site.
Duties required:
General Maintenance of machines, including but not limited to general upkeep, servicing and repairs.
Co-ordinate contractors on site when required
Respond and record findings immediately to prevent failure of performance for machines and supportive equipment
General site servicing
Observe and comply with health and safety policy
The Candidate:
Background in mechanical engineering
Electrical knowledge
Ability to read drawings
Ability to communicate with others
Fault finding abilities
Benefits:
Salary up to £40,000 per year
Monday to Friday days only
Early finish Friday
28 days Holiday
5% company pension contribution
