Maintenance Engineer

A fantastic, leading manufacturing company based in the Scarborough area are looking for a strong multi-skilled maintenance engineer with an electrical bias. This role offers hands-on experience in maintaining and enhancing cutting-edge machinery, while working with a team of skilled technicians. Key Responsibilities:

\n
• Maintain safety standards and follow ISO and company protocols.
\n
• Execute maintenance plans, troubleshoot breakdowns, and support new installations.
\n
• Collaborate with various teams to optimise machine performance and reliability.
\n
• Suggest improvements to reduce downtime and increase efficiency.
\n
• Manage technical documentation and provide shift cover when needed.
\n

About You:

\n
• Experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role, with a focus on electrical engineering.
\n
• NVQ Level 3 Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications.
\n
• 17th /18th Edition.
\n
• Knowledge of PLCs, drives, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
\n
• Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a safety-first mindset.
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
\n

• This is initially a days-based role, Monday-Thursday 8:30am - 4:45pm, Friday 8:30am - 2:00pm, moving over to rotating day and nights Panama 12 hour shifts, 6/6.
