About the Role

Adecco Bournemouth is looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to perform proactive and reactive maintenance on production equipment and facilities. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll play a vital role in maximising production uptime and supporting ongoing improvement efforts in a busy manufacturing environment.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00
• Friday: 08:00 - 13:00

Key Responsibilities

As a Multiskilled Maintenance Technician/Engineer, your role will include:

• Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production machinery, including injection moulding machines and factory infrastructure.
• Working with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Conducting preventative maintenance and documenting safety inspections.
• Performing safety tests, including fire alarm and working-at-heights checks.
• Carrying out water quality checks, such as salt level monitoring.
• Managing PAT testing and liaising with third-party contractors as required.
• Assisting with new equipment installations and supporting the tooling maintenance team when needed.

What You'll Need

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician/Engineer, with strong mechanical and electrical expertise.
• A manufacturing background, ideally with experience in equipment like moulding machines, CNCs, conveyors, or robotics.
• Proficiency in single-phase and three-phase electrical circuits, as well as 12/24V DC systems.
• Basic IT skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
