Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth running of our FMCG manufacturing operations in Doncaster.

Description

• Perform regular maintenance checks and repairs on machinery and production lines.
• Minimise downtime by swiftly resolving breakdowns and technical issues.
• Ensure all equipment is compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Work closely with the production team to implement new machinery and systems.
• Provide technical support and training to junior staff members.
• Assist in the development of maintenance protocols and procedures.
• Investigate and implement cost-saving and efficiency measures.
• Collaborate with the wider Engineering & Manufacturing team on broader projects.

Profile

A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:

• A qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on their feet.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical systems commonly used in manufacturing.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
