• Annual Salary: �30,000 - �38,000pa dependent on experience
• Location: Dereham, Norfolk
• Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday - 8am - 4.30pm

Reed Engineering are working with an amazing family run business who need a Maintenance Engineer to join their team! This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work and is looking for a challenging yet rewarding career in a dynamic environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Diagnose and correct mechanical and some electrical issues to resolve breakdown situations promptly.
• Devise consistent delivery of an engineering strategy across the plant.
• Deliver turn-key improvement projects efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives alongside proactive and reactive maintenance and repairs to the plant.
• Perform additional duties which reasonably correspond to the general character of the role.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A team player with excellent communication skills.
• Experience working with a food manufacturing company
• A Higher National Certificate (HNC) in an electrical, automation, or multiskilled engineering discipline is desirable although not essential, supported by suitable experience.
• Enthusiastic and motivated, with a passion for continuous improvement.
• Flexibility and cooperativeness to meet business needs.
