Maintenance Engineer

Alexander Steele Recruitment are working in partnership with a food manufacturing business in the East�Riding of Yorkshire which are looking to hire a Maintenance Engineer. The ideal candidate is Multi Skilled and has experience working ina FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities�

• 
  

  Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimize downtime and improve reliability.

  
  


• 
  

  Respond promptly to breakdowns, diagnosing faults and implementing effective repairs.

  
  


• 
  

  Support production teams to achieve KPIs by ensuring equipment runs efficiently.

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on equipment failures to prevent recurrence.

  
  


• 
  

  Carry out mechanical and electrical fault finding, repair, and maintenance.

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with installation, commissioning, and improvement projects to enhance plant performance.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure all engineering activities are conducted in line with health and safety standards.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and spare parts usage.

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with other departments to deliver engineering solutions that improve processes.
