Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Sutton Coldfield

Salary: �36,000 - �48,000 (including shift allowance)

About the Role:

Reed Specialist Recruitment is working with an established and growing specialist manufacturing business in Sutton Coldfield to find a dedicated Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. This role involves working within a team to perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment. While there is some proactive work involved, the majority of the tasks are reactive, addressing mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical issues as they arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Address mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Contribute to minimizing production downtime wherever possible.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Qualifications in either an electrical or mechanical background.
• Desire to progress towards being a multi-skilled maintenance engineer.
• Knowledge of welding, hydraulic systems, machining, pneumatic systems, and the ability to read drawings is beneficial.
