Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Hours are rotating shift.�

Location Northampton�

2 days and then 2 nights shifts� then 4 days off each week
Salary �53k

Opportunity for an Multi skilled maintenance engineer to work with one of the leading specialists in large plant machinery Manufacturers.

The business has been running for more than 50 years.

As the Multi-skilled maintenance engineer, you will ensure all manufacturing machinery is maintained to a high standard to meet production demands. Detailed responsibilities are:

• Single and three-phase electrical installations


• Ensuring the smooth running of machines


• Attending equipment breakdowns and other reactive maintenance tasks


• Electrical fault finding


• Identifying electrical components

The Person

• Ideally experience in repair and maintenance of electrical and mechanical plant equipment
  
  both in workshop and logistics building.
  
  Must be able to work unsupervised with the necessary skills to see repairs
  
  through from diagnostic to effective repair and testing.

Large machines cardboard industry�

Good oral and written communication skills.

Working knowledge of 12/24v electrical systems.

Ability to fault find using electrical schematics
