Maintenance Engineering Manager�



Job Description:



We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Engineering Manager to lead our team in providing first-class mechanical and electrical support services across multiple industrial engineering sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance engineering, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to fostering a safe and productive environment for our customers.



Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30



Key Responsibilities:




  1. Mechanical and Electrical Support: Deliver comprehensive mechanical and electrical support services at designated healthcare sites, ensuring optimal operational efficiency.

  2. Reporting: Regularly report on equipment breakdowns and identify potential improvements, collaborating closely with both internal personnel and external partners.

  3. Technical Support: Provide hands-on technical support to Maintenance Engineers, enhancing their skills and resolving complex issues as needed.

  4. Risk Management: Prepare and manage risk assessments and method statements, ensuring all working processes adhere to safety and regulatory standards.

  5. Supervision: Oversee maintenance practices to control quality, performance, and costs, ensuring compliance with established procedures.

  6. Inventory Management: Ensure effective use of spare parts, maintaining accurate stock levels and records to support maintenance activities.

  7. Activity Reporting: Document and report on maintenance activities and performance metrics as required.

  8. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers and their team members, fostering collaboration and trust.

  9. Administrative Duties: Submit a weekly timesheet to HR, ensuring timely backup is in place for submission in the manager's absence, and meeting final monthly deadlines for overtime payment.



Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a healthcare or similar environment.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Proficiency in risk assessment and method statement preparation.

  • Familiarity with inventory management and spare parts control.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
