An opportunity has arisen for a skilled Maintenance Manager to join a forward-thinking engineering team. This role is ideal for a strong leader with a background in electrical maintenance and a commitment to Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) standards. You will play a key role in ensuring operational reliability, driving efficiency, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

The Role:\n
\n- Support the Engineering Manager in daily operations and deputise in their absence.
\n- Manage and control maintenance budgets effectively.
\n- Oversee and allocate electrical and mechanical workloads to ensure smooth department operations.
\n- Plan and coordinate routine and major maintenance shutdowns.
\n- Ensure maintenance resources are prioritised to meet operational requirements.
\n- Drive performance improvements in Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and work order completion rates.
\n- Lead safety and mini-improvement projects during planned plant stoppages.
\n- Maintain a strong focus on safety and compliance, working towards a zero-harm environment.
\n- Provide technical direction, mentorship, and leadership to the engineering team.

About You:\n
\n- Apprentice-trained in a relevant trade with an engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
\n- Proven experience in a maintenance leadership role.
\n- Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance knowledge, including fault diagnosis and repair.
\n- Familiarity with TPM and PPM systems.
\n- Experience with Siemens and Allen Bradley systems.
\n- Strong IT skills, including Excel, Word, and Access.
\n- Ability to lead under pressure and drive improvements in team performance and safety culture.
