Maintenance Team Leader

Maintenance Team Leader - Brixton - £32,000 to £35,000 Dependant on Experience
My client, a long-established Property Development and Residential Lettings firm, are currently seeking a Maintenance Team Leader to join their in Brixton. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant family feel firm with opportunity for progression.
You will be managing a team of four, overseeing the day to day operations of the team, reporting to the Head of Property Management. You will take the lead in liaising with the Tenants, Contractors and other internal departments. Prior management experience is required.
ARLA qualification would be preferred, however if you have not completed ARLA, the firm will fund the qualification.
Your duties will include:

• Manage a team of four, including two maintenance co-ordinators and two in-house maintenance contractors
• Cover maintenance co-ordinators roles when they are off sick or annual leave
• Organise contractors and works for bi-annual servicing
• Deal with maintenance complaints
• Source new contractors
• Sign off large invoices
• Check quotes
• Carry out weekly maintenance meetings

Skills and experience required:

• Poven management experience required within the property industry
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer services skills
• Excellent organisational skills and time management
• Ability to multitask and to work accurately and effectively under pressure
• Ability to use own initiative
• ARLA qualification would be ideal but not essential

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 depending on experience
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
