Maintenance Technician

Our client, based in Houghton Le Spring, is looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician with an Electrical Bias to join their maintenance team.�

Hours of work would be�Monday to Friday 40 hours. Shifts - 07.00am-3.00pm / 3.00pm-11.00pm.

Duties:�

• Planned and�preventative�maintenance�of manufacturing machinery & equipment within the manufacturing�facility


• Reactive maintenance


• Identifying reliability issues, root cause problem solving and improvements


• Troubleshooting and repair skills with a strong Electrical bias�


• Carry out other support maintenance�work when required�


• Ensure all machinery and equipment on site is both mechanically and electrically safe


• Work closely with production when investigating failures�


• Adhere to Health and Safety requirements in line with company procedures

Requirements:

• Served recognised Electrical or Multi Skilled Apprenticeship�


• 5 years minimum experience ideally within a Manufacturing environment�


• Basic Mechanical skills/knowledge


• Strong communication skills�


• Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively�


• Commitment to Health and Safety�procedures�
