Male Teaching Assistant

Tradewind are currently recruiting for a Male Teaching Assistant to work in a Crosby secondary school rated 'Good' by Ofsted.

The school are looking for a Male Teaching Assistant to work with a small group of students who have been assessed and it is felt that a male would be better suited to the children's needs. The role is to start immediately and is a longterm position. It is Monday - Friday, 8.20am - 3.15pm, term time only.

The successful Teaching Assistant would be working under the direction of the Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator.

Your role would be to support the students with their academic learning as well as in developing their social, emotional, and mental health. The successful candidate will ideally bring with them, experience working with young people.

Crosby Secondary School

Position: Male Teaching Assistant (Graduate preferred but not essential)

Full Time: 8.20am - 3.15pm

To start: ASAP until 18th July 2025

Full Time: Monday - Friday, Term time only

Pay £86 a day

Requirements:

• Relevant experience working with children who have special educational needs is highly desirable.
• Graduates preferred.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated compassion and patience.

• Ability to build strong connections with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Positive attitude and genuine passion for helping students reach their full potential.
• Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one.

• Full and complete 10-year career history
• Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
• Legal right to work in the UK.
