Management Accountant | Leeds (or Rotherham) | up to £45,000+ 5k car allowance | Hybrid
A dynamic group of technology companies is seeking a qualified Management Accountant to provide both operational and strategic financial support across its diverse portfolio. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with multiple businesses, driving financial performance and supporting growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing Financial Performance:
- Enhance financial reporting and KPIs.
- Oversee monthly divisional and group reporting.
- Lead the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes.
- Challenge the businesses to drive financial improvement.
- Manage and follow up on customer debt.
- Continuously seek ways to improve processes and drive efficiency.
Supporting Business Decision Making:
- Review customer and supplier terms to identify risks and opportunities.
- Assist with commercial negotiations.
- Prioritise investments and business cases to maximise return on investment.
- Foster a data-driven approach to discussions with operational teams.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Contribute to the 10-year corporate plan and quarterly forecasts.
- Understand and manage cash flow in line with budgets, forecasts, and covenants.
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a strong knowledge of UK GAAP.
- Ideal for a recently qualified accountant looking to advance their finance career.
- Commercially aware, with an analytical mindset and keen attention to detail.
- Experience in finance, with a focus on utilising data to drive business decisions.
- A full UK driving licence is essential, as travel between companies is required.
