Salary: 40k Per Annum (DOE)- 12 Month Maternity Cover

The Company: Join our dynamic finance team in Loughborough as a Management Accountant for a maternity cover position. This role is integral to our operations, reporting directly to the Financial Controller and playing a key part in our financial management.

What You'll Do:

• Produce and present monthly management accounts to the Board of Directors.
• Analyse financial data and share insights with the management team.
• Collaborate with external auditors to complete annual statutory accounts.
• Compile and submit weekly and monthly payroll data to our third-party provider.
• Enhance and maintain financial controls and procedures.
• Oversee and reconcile the balance sheet, including fixed assets.
• Prepare and file quarterly VAT returns, P11Ds, and PSA returns with HMRC.
• Drive the development of monthly cost centre reviews.
• Step in for the Financial Controller when necessary.

What We're Looking For:

• • • A recognized UK accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
    • 2-3 years of relevant experience.
    • Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and formulas.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
    • Experience with Dynamics 365.
