An opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a well-established Internationally successful SME organisation based in Maidenhead. This is a key role within the finance team and will assist in all month end reporting tasks. You will be supported in a professional qualification if actively studying and given full training and support whilst working in a friendly and supportive team.
Responsibilities:
- Monthly Journal postings including accruals, prepayments, billings in advance.
- Preparing monthly Balance Sheet, reviewing P&L costs with the Finance manager, resolving queries.
- Monthly reconciliation of Intercompany balances.
- Assisting with AR aged balances, resolving escalated queries.
- Resolving queries from suppliers and customers, investigating discrepancies in financial records.
- Assisting to the Global Finance team with facilitating payments to UK Suppliers.
- Reconciling Credit Card Expenditure, resolving outstanding queries.
- Maintaining monthly Fixed Assets register, including depreciation, disposals, and additions.
- Assisting with ERP system improvements
- Preparing and submitting VAT and CIS scheme returns, ONS business surveys.
- Any other ad hoc tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Part-qualified or completed study for an Accounting Qualification
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, changing environment.
- Organised, able to work to tight deadlines and able to prioritise workloads.
- Strong computer skills, in particular a good understanding of MS Excel
