Management Accountant

This Management Accountant position is a fantastic next step for a studying Management Accountant. In this position you will be take full ownership for the management accounts reporting into the Finance Manager, supporting the Financial Controller and CFO.

My client are an established SME, Management Consultancy, who are looking for a switched-on Management Accountant to join the lean finance team in their City of London office.

Description

As the Management Accountant you will be responsible for:

• Preparation on monthly management accounts
• Performing balance sheet and P&L reconciliations
• Posting journals (accruals, prepayments, GL and payroll)
• Maintaining and managing fixed asset register
• Performing actual vs budget variance analysis
• Assisting with preparation of half and yearly forecasts and budgets
• Cash-flow management and forecasting
• Supporting with process improvement and implementation
• Assisting with audit

Profile

The successful Management Accountant:

• Actively studying part qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent
• Experience preparing management accounts
• Strong excel experience
• Experience using accounting systems (Xero or Sage desirable)
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Previous and demonstrable ability to meet deadlines and build intercompany relationships

Job Offer
