Management Accountant

Role: Management Accountant
Location: Castleford (Office based - 5 days a week) 
Type: Temporary for 2-3 months

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working on an exclusive basis with an established and fast growing manufacturing business in Castleford who are looking to appoint an experienced Management Accountant to start immediately. 
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accountant to support the Financial Controller as number two in the finance team. You will be responsible for reviewing current processes, reporting and systems and driving process improvement and efficiencies to set the standard for success moving forward.
It will be a varied role with duties to include:

• End to end monthly management accounts production
• Financial reporting and variance analysis 
• Reviewing and maintaining the cashbook
• Cashflow reporting 
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• All month end duties including accruals, prepayments and journal posting
• Ad-hoc requirements to support the team

The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills: - 

• CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA Qualified/ Part Qualified (Qualified by Experience will also be considered) 
• Manufacturing sector experience would be desirable but not essential 
• Self starter and able to work on own initiative 
• Available to start immediately is essential
