Management Accountant

Morgan McKinley, Northern Home Counties is proud to be supporting a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, with a business in Northamptonshire. They are seeking an experienced and hands on Management Accountant who can take real ownership of the workload.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Take overall ownership of producing month end management accounts & departmental P&L's.
• Monitor KPI's, highlighting trends and analysing causes of unexpected variances and making recommendations for improvement
• Ownership of the balance sheet reconciliation. Ensuring that all accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis
• Provide monthly reporting
• Hold Monthly Meetings to support the accounts, to discuss their performance.
• Assistant with the production of annual budgets and supporting analytical analysis

Person Specification

• Part Qualified CIMA or ACCA or AAT Qualified
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong excel skills
• Self-motivated, flexible can-do attitude works well under pressure, on own initiative and in a team environment
• Ability to prioritise workload and keep to strict deadline
• Excellent attention to detail
