We are seeking a progressive� Management Accountant to maintain and improve day-to-day finance operations, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial information. This role supports our clients growth ambitions by providing critical financial insights and support. Responsibilities include managing accounts receivable and payable workflows, reconciling key accounts, processing compliance submissions, and preparing management accounts and forecasts. The Management Accountant will collaborate with various departments and contribute to the development of innovative services for their customers, while also supporting the Head of Finance in managing and developing the Finance team.



Main duties:




  • Business Partnering and New Product Development:

  • Collaborate with the Head of Finance and other departments to streamline processes, improve controls and risk management, and provide information to aid decision-making.

  • Assist with strategic projects, including the development of a new integrated reporting framework and financial modelling with scenario analysis.

  • Prepare and present management accounts, conduct month-end reconciliations and journal entries.

  • Prepare and present detailed profit and cash flow forecasts, and associated variance reports.

  • Ensure compliance with VAT and payroll requirements, including processing submissions to HMRC.

  • Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate audits and address findings.

  • Analyse business data to generate insights for colleagues and stakeholders.

  • Onboard customers and conduct credit checks.

  • Support Finance Assistants in invoicing recurring and one-off services.

  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve queries while providing excellent customer service.

  • Conduct credit control activities, including liaising with debt collection agencies and solicitors.

  • Monitor and communicate key accounts receivable metrics.

  • Ensure purchase orders and invoices are processed correctly and timely.

  • Work with Finance Assistants and administrators to implement and monitor the procurement policy.
