Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse financial data, including trends, forecasts, budgets, variances, and operational performance.
- Assist with the monthly/quarterly/yearly closing of accounting books, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Reconcile and review balance sheet accounts, ensuring compliance with financial standards and statutory reporting bodies.
- Lead and coordinate budgeting processes, providing accurate and timely management reports.
- Manage the purchase ledger staff and systems, ensuring training and development, and consistent application of organisational policies.
- Communicate with internal and external auditors, coordinating audit preparations and implementing necessary controls.
- Take responsibility for inventory management, including valuation, system improvements, and year-end stock take.
- Support ERP system upgrades and process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive cost management decisions.
Essential Requirements:
- Professional Accounting Qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA), newly qualified candidates will be considered.
- Experience in operations finance, budgeting, cost analysis, and financial statement reporting in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Desirable Requirements:
- Familiarity with Sage 200 ERP system.
- Experience working in a multinational organisation.
