Salary: �40,000 - �45,000 per annum

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyse financial data, including trends, forecasts, budgets, variances, and operational performance.
• Assist with the monthly/quarterly/yearly closing of accounting books, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Reconcile and review balance sheet accounts, ensuring compliance with financial standards and statutory reporting bodies.
• Lead and coordinate budgeting processes, providing accurate and timely management reports.
• Manage the purchase ledger staff and systems, ensuring training and development, and consistent application of organisational policies.
• Communicate with internal and external auditors, coordinating audit preparations and implementing necessary controls.
• Take responsibility for inventory management, including valuation, system improvements, and year-end stock take.
• Support ERP system upgrades and process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive cost management decisions.

Essential Requirements:

• Professional Accounting Qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA), newly qualified candidates will be considered.
• Experience in operations finance, budgeting, cost analysis, and financial statement reporting in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Desirable Requirements:

• Familiarity with Sage 200 ERP system.
• Experience working in a multinational organisation.
