Management Accountant

Blair West is supporting a growing independent Business Group with the recruitment of a Management Accountant in a newly created role. Reporting directly into the Finance Director, this role will take ownership of the production of management accounts for the group, including analysis and commentary, and assist with strategic decision making by providing insight through financial reporting.

The opportunity:

• Monthly management accounts production for multiple entities within the group, including analysis and reporting.


• VAT return submission and analysis.


• Financial forecasting and analysis projects.


• External audit support at year-end, being point of contact for compliance.


• Ad-hoc tax analysis work.


• ONS reporting.


• Other ad-hoc duties as required.

You'll be the ideal candidate for this position if you've:

• A part-qualification or nearing the end of their ACA/ACCA/CIMA studies.


• Experience within a practice environment desirable, particularly audit.


• A strong communicator, both written and verbal.


• An eye for detail and process improvement.


• The ability to showcase an ability to investigate complex issues to resolution.


• The ability to prioritise workload.
