Management Accountant

As Management Accountant for a Global Omni-Channel Communications business, you will be part of a newly created centralised finance function providing support to divisional finance business partners in the production and management of financial transactions and activities. The objective to bring a high degree of quality, control and insight to the financial close, budgeting and forecasting processes.

This is a multi site business that operate both in the UK and internationally to provide Digital Print Services, Workplace Solutions and Business Processing Outsourcing

Responsibilities:

• Support the accounting close process by managing balances via journals (managing accruals, deferrals, prepayments and IFRS adjustments, etc.)


• Review and reconcile key elements within the Profit & Loss e.g. Payroll


• Support Month End Reporting requirements such as FTE KPIs, Fixed Assets, Provision movements and analysis, recording balance sheet movements


• Provide assurance of financial balances, by performing Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations consistent with Business Policies & Procedures, providing quality supporting documentation where required


• Support the IFRS16 Operating Lease Accounting process


• Support internal and external audit requirements

Skills/Experience:

• We are seeking an Accountant with a minimum 3-4 years of experience in a similar role and business environment.


• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) or part qualified, actively studying in the final exam stages


• Experience of working with stakeholders of differing levels of seniority and non-financial stakeholders


• Advanced Excel skills to enable manipulation of multiple data sources to deliver detailed analytics is essential


• Prior experience of Business Central is advantageous
